WFUNA has joined 33 other NGOs in signing a letter from the International Coalition for the Responsibility to Protect (ICRtoP) that urges UN Member States to support the Accountability, Coherence, and Transparency (ACT) Group’s “Code of Conduct regarding Security Council action against genocide, crimes against humanity, or war crimes.”

Citing ongoing atrocities in Syria, Palestine, Myanmar, and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the letter states that this “moment of global instability” requires action from the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and proposes this Code of Conduct as a solution.
