WFUNA Attends Launch of the #OneforAll Campaign

TUESDAY, JANUARY 31, 2017

In December last year, the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) and PVBLIC Foundation committed to work together on the One for All campaign and to inspire, activate and mobilize worldwide action for the SDGs.

On Tuesday 31 January, 2017, the One for All campaign was officially launched at the United Nations, New York. Anchor partners shared their support for the campaign and their work for a more sustainable future. H.E. Peter Thomson, President of the General Assembly, Ahmad Alhendawi from United Nations Secretary-General's Envoy on Youth, and Dr. David Nabarro, Special Advisor to the United Nations Secretary-General on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Climate Change, celebrated the beginning of the One for All campaign with remarks on the critical importance of meeting the SDGs by 2030.

Bonian Golmohammadi, Secretary-General of WFUNA, delivered remarks on how WFUNA's flagship program, Mission Possible, empowers youth as Agents of Change. Mr. Golmohammadi further addressed the importance of global citizenship education in inspiring action to achieve the SDGs.

The One for All campaign is a 15 year initiative designed to empower member states, organizations, corporations and individuals to take action, collaborate, and drive awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals.
