WFUNA Family,

As all of our thoughts are on the COVID-19 situation, we wanted to share an update on how WFUNA is responding. The safety and health of our communities, including our participants and dedicated employees, is always of the utmost importance to us.

In an effort to protect our communities, we have decided to reschedule many of our projects, especially those involving students. However, we are currently working very hard for alternative measures to ensure continuity in our goal of trust and transparency in government and institution. We are shifting many of our programs to virtual meetings and webinars, ensuring anyone’s ability to attend and participate.

All of that said, while this virus is unlikely to severely impact the young and healthy, it has the potential to harm those who are most vulnerable among us and to strain our health care system. We can each contribute to fighting this problem through good personal hygiene and most importantly, social distancing. Making these small sacrifices for a relatively short period of time will help save lives.

Thank you,

The WFUNA team
