GENEVA - For the first time, WFUNA welcomed 15 Chinese entrepreneurs to participate in the Leadership Training Program: China from 28 September to 2 October 2015. They spent three days in the United Nations Office at Geneva and International Organizations headquartered in Geneva and refined their knowledge of the UN structure and mechanisms. Each day was dedicated to a specific theme and briefings were related to the UN's work, International Trade, Health and Development.

WFUNA Secretary General, Bonian Golmohammadi, and Director of Programs in WFUNA's Geneva office, Irene Martinetti, travelled to Bhopal, India over the weekend to attend the International Conference on Human Rights: Contemporary Issues & Challenges, hosted by the Jagran Lakecity University in collaboration with WFUNA.

In light of the adpotion of the Agenda 2030 and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by the UN General Assembly last week, the conference addressed multiple human rights themes including:

How can youth become champions of action and lead the implementation of the post-2015 development agenda? The WFUNA Youth Seminar: Jaipur was aimed at creating ownership and discussing the involvement of youth in the post-2015 development agenda process.
