WIMUN has just finished up our Summer Online Simulation series, and we are happy to announce it was a huge success! The Summer Online Simulation series featured multiple committees including the simulation of the Security Council, Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, Intergovernmental Negotiations on Security Council Reform, and the General Assembly. Simulating topics ranging from the smuggling of migrants to the elimination of terrorism, we had delegates from over 50 countries register, making this WIMUN series one of the most diverse to date!

WFUNA is proud to announce that the 2019 editions of WIMUN New York and WIMUN Geneva were both rated the Best Large Model UN Conference. As these two awards are based entirely on anonymous reviews sent by participants to the MyMUN platform, we want to thank all the students and Faculty Advisors who participated in these conferences.

Advancing Agenda 2030 Together: Partnerships and Youth - Mission Possible holds 5th annual Agents of Change Conference in New York

The Agents of Change Conference was held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City from February 5th to 7th. The annual event welcomed thirty students and teachers who completed the Mission Possible program to participate in educational sessions and present the results of projects they have implemented that focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

“It is the first time we did a project where there was actual, real impact,” a student from Tanglin Trust School reflects about their experience with WFUNA Mission Possible: Singapore.

“For years we have seen signs of our depleting natural resources, as well as the increasing pressure of human needs on our Earth. We have to find a solution to this, and this solution needs to be permanent – this is what we call sustainable development.” Aadithya Athreya, a student from Vidyashilp Academy, spoke to his peers, faculty, parents, and stakeholders that attended the WFUNA Mission Possible Closing Ceremony about the importance of sustainable development.

WFUNA Celebrates its Fourth Mission Possible Closing Ceremony

New York, NY – On March 29, the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) organizes another Mission Possible: India Closing Ceremony to celebrate and congratulate students that have successfully completed its flagship Global Citizenship Education program, Mission Possible.

WFUNA’s flagship Global Citizenship Education program, Mission Possible, concludes another successful International Agents of Change Conference.

NEW YORK, NY – From January 28-30th, the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) hosted its fourth Mission Possible International Agents of Change Conference, on the theme of Youth Action for Inclusiveness and Equality in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Agents of Change celebrated their achievements at the Closing Ceremony in Singapore.

SINGAPORE, 17 September 2018 – The Closing Ceremony of WFUNA’s Mission Possible Programme Cycle in Singapore was held on 12 September 2018 at Nexus International School. It convened students from Hwa Chong International School, Nexus International School and Tanglin Trust School. Students presented the projects developed as part of the program curriculum and shared the knowledge and experiences gathered over the last year. There were a total of nine presentations.
